Recently, the Tana Lake Hydropower Station Project in Nepal has successively achieved the goal of connecting the diversion tunnel construction adit and penstock construction adit.
The total length of the construction adit of the headrace tunnel is 356m, the net size of the tunnel is 7m wide and 7m high, and the excavation volume is 17600 m3. As the traffic tunnel of the headrace tunnel and the construction adit at the top of the pressure shaft, the headrace tunnel construction adit is the construction channel for the excavation and lining of the headrace tunnel, the excavation of the construction adit at the top of the pressure shaft, the excavation of the pressure shaft, the installation and pouring of the penstock. In the later stage, it will be used as a construction road to enter the adit of the pressure shaft manhole.
The total length of the penstock construction adit is 218m, the net section of the tunnel is 7m wide and 7m high, and the excavation volume is 11000 m3. As the construction channel at the bottom of the pressure shaft, the penstock construction adit will be used as the construction channel for the excavation, penstock installation and lining of the lower flat section and bifurcated section of the pressure shaft, as well as the slag discharge channel of the shaft section.
