Product Description
High-performance stainless steel materials designed for marine, chemical, and industrial applications requiring superior corrosion resistance and mechanical strength.
UNS S32750 Super Duplex Stainless Steel Plate, also known as Grade 2507 or EN 1.4410, is engineered for applications demanding high mechanical strength and excellent corrosion resistance. Its duplex microstructure combines austenitic and ferritic phases, making it ideal for challenging industrial environments, particularly those involving chloride exposure.
We supply stainless steel plates and sheets in various grades including UNS S32750, 2205, 304, 316L, and 439, subject to availability. Products are available in hot rolled or cold rolled conditions with customized thicknesses, widths, lengths, and surface finishes to meet project requirements.
- UNS S32750 / 2507 super duplex stainless steel plate
- Additional grades including 2205, 304, 316L, and 439, subject to availability
- Hot rolled and cold rolled product options
- Customized thickness, width, and length
- Multiple surface finishes for industrial and fabrication applications
- Suitable for cutting, machining, forming, and qualified welding processes
- Material documentation available according to order requirements
- China supply options for international customers
Industrial equipment often operates under conditions involving moisture, aggressive chemicals, elevated temperatures, or chloride-containing media. Using unsuitable materials can lead to localized corrosion, premature component failure, increased maintenance costs, and production interruptions.
- Corrosion in Aggressive Environments: Seawater, chlorides, and chemical solutions can cause localized corrosion in unsuitable alloys
- Mechanical Strength Requirements: Pressure equipment and industrial components may require high strength for design and operating requirements
- Fabrication and Welding Considerations: Different grades have varying forming, machining, and welding characteristics
- Material Cost Management: Choosing the correct grade helps avoid overspecification and unnecessary costs
We offer stainless steel plate and sheet options for a range of industrial requirements. Grade selection should be based on application, technical specifications, operating environment, and budget.
Contains chromium, nickel, molybdenum, and nitrogen. Provides high strength and enhanced resistance to localized corrosion in chloride-containing environments. Typical applications include offshore equipment, seawater handling systems, desalination facilities, and chemical processing equipment.
Commonly used for pressure equipment, piping components, storage tanks, and industrial structures. Suitable when duplex properties are required but performance requirements differ from S32750.
Titanium-stabilized ferritic stainless steel used in automotive exhaust systems, heat-related components, appliances, and formed products. Offers useful resistance to oxidation and corrosion in appropriate service environments.
Grade 304 is widely used for general fabrication and construction. Grade 316L provides improved resistance to chloride-containing environments compared to 304.

UNS S32750 is used in selected offshore structures, seawater handling equipment, marine process systems, and components exposed to chloride-containing environments.
Super duplex stainless steel plate may be used in process equipment, pressure-containing components, structural parts, and systems requiring high strength and corrosion resistance.
S32750 can be considered for desalination equipment, seawater systems, and water treatment components where chloride resistance is important.
Selected chemical processing vessels, equipment components, and industrial structures may use super duplex stainless steel when properties are appropriate for process media.
Grade 439 stainless steel is widely considered for automotive exhaust components and related parts due to its ferritic structure and suitability for oxidation and corrosion conditions.
Grade 439 may be used in appliance parts, formed panels, and manufactured products where forming characteristics and service conditions are appropriate.
Raw materials are melted and refined to achieve required chemical composition. Elements such as chromium contribute to the protective passive film, while nickel, molybdenum, nitrogen, and titanium contribute to grade characteristics.
Steel is processed through rolling equipment to achieve specified thickness. Hot rolling occurs at elevated temperatures, while cold rolling produces thinner products with improved dimensional or surface characteristics.
Applied according to material grade and specification. For duplex stainless steels, appropriate processing maintains the required balance of ferrite and austenite and supports mechanical and corrosion properties.
Operations such as pickling, polishing, or other surface treatments are applied to match intended application and processing requirements.
Plate or sheet is cut to required dimensions, with inspection covering thickness, width, length, surface condition, and order-specific requirements.
Material is checked against agreed specifications and accompanied by required documentation. Protective packaging reduces damage risk during storage and transportation.
At customer facilities, material undergoes machining, forming, welding, or other fabrication operations. For S32750, qualified procedures and suitable controls are essential for demanding service conditions.
- UNS S32750 / 2507: Applications requiring high strength and enhanced resistance to localized corrosion in chloride-containing environments
- 2205 Duplex: Applications where duplex stainless steel performance is required with suitable service conditions
- 439 Stainless Steel: Automotive exhaust components, appliances, and other appropriate ferritic stainless steel applications
- 304 Stainless Steel: General-purpose fabrication and construction applications
- 316L Stainless Steel: Applications requiring improved resistance to chloride-related corrosion compared with 304
Specify applicable ASTM, ASME, EN, JIS, or other standards. For regulated applications, ensure material compliance with relevant project specifications.
Confirm thickness, width, length, quantity, dimensional tolerances, and cutting requirements. Consider required allowances for machining or welding.
Select finish according to intended application and processing route. Hot rolled plate typically uses No. 1 finish, while cold rolled sheet may have 2B or BA finishes.
For S32750, consider design strength, chloride exposure, operating temperature, and localized corrosion resistance. For 439, review oxidation resistance and forming requirements.
Confirm whether material will be welded, bent, machined, or formed. Duplex stainless steel may require specialized fabrication procedures.
Price depends on grade, thickness, dimensions, quantity, surface finish, stock availability, processing costs, and shipping terms. Request quotation based on exact specification.
