Product Description
Our seamless stainless steel tubes are engineered for industrial piping and equipment where reliable strength, corrosion resistance and dimensional stability are required. The product range includes 304, 304L, 316, 316L, 316Ti, 321, 310S, 2205, 2507, 904L and other stainless steel grades.
Unlike welded tubing, seamless stainless steel tube is formed from a solid billet and does not contain a longitudinal welded joint. This construction makes it suitable for a wide range of demanding applications, particularly where the piping system is exposed to pressure, temperature changes or corrosive process media.
The available size range covers approximately 6-800mm outside diameter, with wall thicknesses from 0.1-100mm and lengths up to 12,000mm. Custom dimensions can also be discussed according to the project specification.
Depending on the selected grade and application, products can be supplied according to ASTM A213, ASTM A269, ASTM A312, ASTM A789 and ASTM A790.
Surface options include BA, 2B, 2D, No.4, HL, 4K, 6K and 8K, while additional fabrication services include cutting, bending, welding, punching, decoiling and moulding.
Pipes used in petroleum, gas, chemical and power facilities are frequently exposed to demanding working conditions. High pressure, elevated temperature, corrosive fluids and long operating cycles can place significant demands on the piping material.
Using an unsuitable pipe may lead to:
- Accelerated corrosion
- Loss of mechanical strength
- Material degradation at elevated temperatures
- Reduced operating life
- Increased maintenance requirements
- Problems during fabrication and installation
- Failure to meet project specifications
The required material is therefore determined not only by pipe dimensions but also by the chemical environment, pressure, temperature, mechanical loading and applicable industry standard.
We provide a broad range of seamless stainless steel pipe and tube grades for different service conditions.
For general corrosion-resistant applications, 304 and 304L are widely used. When greater corrosion resistance is needed, particularly in many chloride-containing environments, 316 and 316L may be more appropriate.
For applications requiring a combination of high strength and corrosion resistance, duplex 2205 and 2507 offer an alternative to conventional austenitic grades. High-alloy materials such as 904L and 317L are also available for selected aggressive chemical environments.
Our supply capabilities include:

Oil and Gas Equipment: Seamless stainless steel tubing can be used in selected oil and gas production, processing and transportation equipment. The appropriate alloy should be selected according to the process fluid, pressure, temperature and corrosion environment.
Petrochemical Facilities: In petrochemical plants, stainless steel seamless pipe may be used for process piping, equipment connections, heat-transfer systems and fluid-handling applications. 316L and duplex grades can be considered for environments where improved corrosion resistance is required.
Chemical Processing: Chemical plants often require materials capable of resisting specific process chemicals. Depending on the medium and operating conditions, 316L, 2205, 2507, 904L and 317L may be evaluated for more demanding service.
Power Generation: Stainless steel tubes can be used in power-generation equipment, heat exchangers, boiler-related systems and process piping. Grades such as 310S or other suitable heat-resistant materials may be selected for elevated-temperature service.
Boiler and Heat Exchanger Systems: Seamless tubing manufactured to appropriate ASTM specifications can be used in selected boilers, superheaters and heat exchangers. The material grade and standard should correspond to the equipment design conditions.
Industrial Construction: Stainless steel seamless pipe is also suitable for industrial construction projects where corrosion resistance, structural reliability and long-term durability are required.
Seamless stainless steel tube is manufactured from a solid stainless steel billet rather than from a welded strip.
The billet is heated and pierced to create a hollow shell. Subsequent rolling and sizing operations gradually establish the required outside diameter and wall thickness. Heat treatment and finishing processes are then applied according to the material specification.
The alloy composition determines much of the pipe's corrosion and mechanical performance. Chromium forms a protective passive layer on the stainless steel surface. Additional alloying elements such as nickel, molybdenum and nitrogen can further influence corrosion resistance, strength and other properties.
For duplex stainless steels such as 2205 and 2507, the combination of austenitic and ferritic phases provides a different balance of strength and corrosion resistance compared with conventional austenitic grades.
The final pipe performance therefore depends on: Alloy composition → billet preparation → piercing → rolling → heat treatment → sizing → finishing
1. Identify the Service Environment
Determine what the pipe will carry and where it will operate. Important factors include fluid composition, chloride exposure, temperature, operating pressure, flow conditions, external atmosphere, and required service life.
2. Choose the Alloy
304 / 304L - Common choices for general corrosion-resistant applications
316 / 316L - Improved corrosion resistance in many environments
321 / 316Ti - Considered for selected elevated-temperature applications
2205 - High strength with enhanced corrosion resistance
2507 - Super duplex for demanding corrosion and strength requirements
904L - High-alloy grade for severe corrosion environments
3. Confirm the ASTM Specification
ASTM A213 - Boiler, superheater and heat-exchanger tubes
ASTM A269 - General corrosion-resisting and temperature service
ASTM A312 - General corrosive and high-temperature service
ASTM A789 - Ferritic/austenitic stainless steel tubing
ASTM A790 - Ferritic/austenitic stainless steel pipe
4. Select Pipe Dimensions
Provide the required: Outside Diameter × Wall Thickness × Length
The correct dimensions depend on pressure, flow, mechanical loading and installation conditions.
5. Select the Surface
Choose BA for bright surface, 2B or 2D for common industrial requirements, and No.4 or HL for brushed decorative applications. Polished 4K, 6K or 8K surfaces can be selected when higher surface brightness is required.
1. Why choose seamless stainless steel pipe instead of welded pipe?
Seamless pipe is manufactured without a longitudinal weld seam. It can therefore be advantageous for applications where the project specification calls for seamless construction or where particular pressure, temperature or mechanical requirements apply.
2. What are ASTM A269 and ASTM A789 used for?
ASTM A269 covers austenitic stainless steel tubing for general corrosion-resisting and low- or high-temperature service, while ASTM A789 covers ferritic/austenitic stainless steel tubing, including duplex grades.
3. Which is better for demanding environments, 316L or 2205?
They provide different performance characteristics. 316L is an austenitic grade widely used for corrosion-resistant applications, while 2205 duplex stainless steel generally provides higher strength and enhanced resistance to several corrosion mechanisms. The correct choice depends on the specific environment.
4. Can you supply 2507 and 904L seamless pipe?
Yes. 2507 super duplex and 904L high-alloy stainless steel are available subject to grade, dimensions, quantity and production requirements.
5. Can seamless stainless steel pipe be customized?
Yes. Customized diameter, wall thickness, length, surface finish and processing can be discussed. Cutting, bending, welding, punching, decoiling and moulding services are also available according to project requirements.
