Verpakking en Verzending
De verpakking en verzending van roestvrijstalen buizen omvatten doorgaans een koker of doos die is afgesloten met een binnenvoering om schade te voorkomen. De buizen worden meestal met banden en/of rekfolie aan de verpakking bevestigd. De buizen kunnen vervolgens op pallets worden geladen voor verzending.
Afhankelijk van de grootte en het gewicht van de zending kan deze worden vervoerd via vrachtwagen, trein of vliegtuig. Als vracht per vrachtwagen wordt verzonden, zal het vrachtbedrijf doorgaans de benodigde banden en/of kussens leveren om de buizen aan de vrachtwagen te bevestigen. Bij verzending per trein of vliegtuig moeten de buizen worden verpakt en beveiligd volgens de vereisten van het scheepvaartbedrijf.
